How the weekly Insights roundups are made, and how to tell us about a mistake.

How a roundup is made

Each week we look at public videos about AI, automation and software, from the channels we follow.

An AI system helps us pick the stories and write a first draft in English and French, in our own words. It works from summaries of the videos and does not copy their scripts.

Every story adds one thing the source does not: what the news changes for a company’s systems.

A person reviews every roundup

Nothing is published automatically. A person reads every draft, checks it against its sources, edits it and approves it. A draft that does not meet that bar is not published.

Sources are always credited

Every story links to the videos it is based on and names the channel that made them. We credit creators by name and never present their work as ours.

Corrections

When a published roundup contains a mistake, we correct the page itself and its “Updated” date changes. The address of the page stays the same.

Report a mistake

Write to us with the address of the page and what is wrong. We read every message and fix what needs fixing.
